I met Marvin and Alysia many years ago when we were introduced after discussing similar ideas with Lovejoy administrators and that's when I joined them on their Lovejoylove.org initiative. Having volunteered in Lovejoy I would frequently see Marvin at the same meetings, organization, activities, and volunteering for Lovejoy and he is one of the few men that probably volunteered more than I did. Marvin is a humble, intelligent, driven and positive force in the Lovejoy community. He is always volunteering, sharing ideas and advocating for the students, families and the entire Lovejoy community. Marvin would bring a unique high-tech skillset to the board and provide a beacon in an ever-evolving digital world. I can't express what a great fit Marvin will be on the LISD school board!
