Marvin has a background in technology and finance. From understanding the complexity of school finance to ensuring the best is ahead for our kids, Marvin will be an asset to the Lovejoy School Board.

 

In addition to his “on paper qualifications” - from a personal aspect, our family is honored to call Marvin our friend. 

 

Marvin has a genuine heart. Time and time again we have witnessed how he is just a stand-up type of guy who goes out of his way to ensure that he is helping make Lovejoy the best it can be. I don’t know many people who will volunteer their entire Friday night, doing physical labor to ensure a Lovejoy color guard competition is a success - when they don’t even have a kid in color guard! That is the type of “jump in and help where needed” person Marvin is. 

 

If you don’t know Marvin - meet him! I guarantee he will have a smile on his face. Chances are you have seen him or his lovely wife Alysia volunteering in some aspect at a school event. They are both active volunteers at Hart Elementary, Lovejoy High School, the Lovejoy Foundation and various other community organizations.
